It's assessment season here and I am sitting in front of two screens reading this piece, wondering at how charged up I am with no where to go except to spend endless more hours at the computer, for the next few weeks at least... then it's time to sink the hands into some soil! (I also appreciated the Scream reference vs the powerpoint, so true.)
When I pet a cat during dry weather we both get a shock if I keep at it for too long. I’d never thought about this very common phenomenon, except when Rodney or Daisy pulls back looking confused. Thanks for this entertaining little essay! ❤️!
Bonnie Jean and I have been ill on and off for months now. Spring weather ought to help. We’ve had about twenty cats during our lives and we’re the lucky ones. They’re all great in their own unique ways, and we’ve had some real characters over the years. My current favorite is Rodney, a twenty pound tabby who literally hugs me when I go to sleep. His legs are so long that he wraps his front paws around my arm and puts his chin down on my arm, purring softly. What a way to drift off to sleep! I wonder where you find the information you put in your Mind Flexes, but it’s fascinating. Can’t wait until your next Flex! ❤️!
Ground me. Kilowatt power. Charged and ready with go power. Your voice is sparkling effervescence. Could listen to you all night sharing a bottle of champagne.
Such lovely visuals, really enjoyable listen as always:) thanks pal
Thanks for listening, Jonathan.

Yes, the irony of being a nature writer in the modern world, haha. Good luck with your assessments, Lucinda.
The juxtaposition is real
